Protect Yourself From Fake Support Calls

AP Technology has been made aware that a small number of our customers have received calls purporting to be from customer support departments in a range of companies including Microsoft and AP Technology.

This is part of a well-known scam where fraudsters that will attempt to gain access to your computer by impersonating technical support representatives from legitimate software companies.

In order to reduce the confusion fraudsters can create, AP Technology Technical Support will only call you if you have an open support case. We advise you to verify the case number with the one provided in the email when your case was created before proceeding on any call you receive from someone reporting to be a support specialist.
